Polish language for diplomats

We are happy to inform that on 1 March 2010 the first edition of Polish language course for diplomats of foreign countries has been launched. The project aims to provide the diplomatic representatives of the other countries with an opportunity to learn not only Polish language but also more about Poland itself - its culture, history and general current situation. The partner of the initative is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

Call for applications for a contest “ Way to Harvard”

The European Academy of Diplomats and The Harvard Club of Poland call for applications for a prestigious contest “Way to Harvard”. The contest is aimed at high school students, undergraduates of state and private universities, and graduates who seek to study at renowned American universities, specifically Harvard University.

Study trip of the VI edition of AYD at the World Bank

On February 17th, 2010, the World Bank office in Warsaw received a group of the VI edition of the AYD'students. Our students had the great pleasure to meet with Mr. Thomas Laursen, the Bank’s Country Manager for Poland and the Baltic States, and Ms. Anna Kowalczyk and Ms. Malgorzata Dworzynska from the Communications Team of the World Bank.

Working for the EU

The next edition of the EAD's open training devoted to the issue of work in the European institutions is finished. On 20 and 21 February 2010 the lectures in EAD were given among others by Julie Leprêtre (Centre of European Studies in Strasbourg / l’ENA),  Justyna Słodek-Wahlström (FRONTEX UE Agency), Anita Janusz (Department of Coordination of Poland’s Presidency of EU Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Kinga Schlesinger (European Commission, Representation in Poland).

The Exchange is about to start

This is the last week before the departure and Polish participants of Youth Leadership Exchange are busy with preparations. The program is fully funded by the US Department of State. It is only last shopping to  be done last questionnaires to fill out, last pictures  to be taken, last good-bye dinners with family and the adventure may begin – the adventure of becoming an American teenager.
