Easter Workshop for diplomats

On Friday, March 26th, the  EAD organised a Easter Egg Painting Workshop as part of its Polish Language Courses for Diplomats. Representatives of foreign countries learned traditional egg-painting techniques and hand-painted their own Easter eggs. After the workshop, the Lithuanian Center of Warsaw--a partner of the EAD and co-host of the workshop--gave a presentation on Easter palms-making.

AYD 6th Edition students meet with Member of Polish Parliament Marek Borowski

A group of students from the AYD's 6th edition participated in another educational excursion on March 25th.

This time the students met a member of the Polish Parliament, learned about the history of parliamentary tradition in Poland and toured the parliamentary building. The group also attended a lecture by Marek Borowski, a member of the Committee on Liaisons with Poles Abroad and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

AYD 6th Edition Students visit the Polish Parliament

A group of students from the AYD's 6th edition participated in another educational excursion on March 15th.

This time the students visited the Polish Parliament, where they learned about the history of parliamentary tradition in Poland and toured the parliamentary building. The students also met Jolanta Szymanek-Deresz, a member of the Polish Parliament and Vice Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Easter Egg-Painting Workshop

As part of its Polish language courses, the EAD will offer an Easter Egg-Painting Workshop on March 26th (Friday) at 18.00. The workshop is open to the public and will be held at the Lithuanian Centre of Warsaw, on 12 Al. Ujazdowskie.

AYD 6th Edition Students visit the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage

On March 12th, a group of students from the AYD's 6th edition met with Monika Smoleń,  Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, who directs the department's international and transboundary cultural cooperation initiative, and Agata Kaczmarzyk-Pilipiuk, EU Cooperation Specialist of the Department of International Relations.

Polish students return from the US

A group of Polish students and teachers from the US-Poland Parliamentary Leadership Youth Exchange Program recently returned from a trip to the United States feeling tired but excited and already looking forward to future visits.

Polish language for diplomats

The EAD eagerly launched the first edition of Polish language courses for diplomats on March 1st. The courses aim to teach diplomatic representatives of foreign countries in Poland not only the Polish language but also a sense of its history, culture and current character. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a partner in this initiative.
