Call for applications for “Way to Harvard” contest

The European Academy of Diplomats and the Harvard Club of Poland are co-sponsoring a contest for Polish students entitled “Way to Harvard”. The contest is open to high school students and undergraduates and graduates of state and private universities interested in studying at Harvard University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States.

The project seeks to promote education at renowned foreign institutions, particularly at Harvard, among Poles. Specifically, the contest's organizors hope to raise awareness of entrance requirements and of the financial aid opportunities available to outstanding candidates and students, and eventually enable more of the best Polish students, undergraduates and graduates to begin or continue their studies at Harvard.

The grand prize of the contest is a one week trip to Harvard University for four students in October 2010.

Applicants should be citizens of Poland and have a Polish passport or be able to obtain one before applying for a U.S. visa.

Deadline for applications: April 30th, 2010.
